My name is Nadine Day. I am a mom and an entrepreneur who loves to cook. I am constantly looking for inspiration and after many requests from friends and family, I have decided to share my weekly recipe ideas.
I started my career as a registered dietitan and during that time I always worked with food. I opened a café, taught cooking classes, contributed to two babyfood cookbooks, developed over 300 recipes for the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada and worked on the product development team for Canada’s premier private label brand; Presidents Choice. Simply put, I love food.
In 2011, I took an opportunity to open an event venue in Kitchener, Ontario. Hacienda Sarria is a beautiful and inspiring place to work. Along with my team we execute over 100 parties, weddings and events each year. All of our events involve food but I rarely get to contribute and I never cook. This site is an opportunity for me to immerse myself in food again and share my recipes and tips with busy families like yours.
